I can’t believe how much I already love our new home. All it is, right now as I type this, is a plot of dirt with trenches. Yes, I am excited about trenches. My husband and I have been dreaming for 17 years to own a home of our own. We have made a home in every place we have lived, and have been model tenants for many landlords, but now it’s our turn. Finally.
So, we drive by our dirt weekly. Even when we knew there would be no changes because they weren’t scheduled to break ground until early November; we still drove by whenever we “were in the area”. (Or, whenever we were in the car, really.) Aren’t those some of the greatest trenches you’ve ever seen? (Mental note, cuter outfit for these progress photos)
When we drive by this week, we are hoping for more progress. I can already picture it this time next year, getting ready to be dressed up for the holidays. But, in the meantime, we will continue to drive by and dream of what will be! I’ll keep you posted!
